I'm a Ukrainian-born, Calgary-based abstract artist. My work is deeply shaped by personal transformation. When life unfolded in ways I couldn't have foreseen, painting became more than a practice. It became a way to process, to ground, and to rebuild.

Each piece is built in layers, in mixed media, then scraped back to reveal what's underneath, color beneath color, memory beneath memory. That process shapes everything I make, nothing is planned too rigidly, and nothing is really finished until it's found its own quiet balance.

My work isn't about perfection. It's about feeling and response, the emotions we carry silently, the unseen victories and quiet losses, the space between an inner voice and its outward expression. I paint because emotion needs somewhere to go. Not everything can be explained, but it can be felt.

Through my work, I hope to offer a sense of calm, a steady presence for heavy moments, and a way to notice the quiet joy in an ordinary day. That's the same feeling I want each piece to bring into a home. Not just something to look at, but something that makes the room, and the day, feel a little more like yours.
